This Privacy Policy describes how the mobile application Cleanr: Photo Cleaner ("Cleanr", "we", "our", or "the App"), published by Acacio Magno Ferreira, handles your information when you use the App. The short version is that Cleanr is built to not collect or transmit your personal data — your photos and your decisions stay on your device.
Cleanr does not collect, transmit, sell, share, or otherwise process any of the following:
Photos you choose to delete inside Cleanr are removed using Apple's standard Photo Library APIs. The deletion happens locally on your device. Cleanr never uploads your photos to any server.
To make the App work, Cleanr stores the following data only on your device, never on a remote server:
This data is stored on encrypted device storage and is automatically deleted when you uninstall the App.
Cleanr requests access to your Photos in order to show you each photo as a swipe card and, when you swipe to delete, to remove the corresponding asset using Apple's Photo Library APIs. iOS will prompt you to grant access the first time you launch the App. You can revoke access at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → Cleanr.
Cleanr displays a single banner advertisement provided by Google AdMob while you use the App. AdMob is a service operated by Google LLC. Depending on the consent you give, AdMob may collect and process limited device-level data such as advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS), IP address, device model, OS version, and ad-interaction events for the purposes of serving ads, measuring ad performance, preventing fraud, and complying with applicable laws.
You control how Cleanr can use the IDFA via the iOS App Tracking Transparency prompt and via Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. If you do not grant tracking permission, AdMob will only serve contextually-targeted, non-personalized ads.
For details on Google's data handling, see Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543.
If you upgrade to Cleanr Pro, the purchase is handled by Apple's In-App Purchase system. Cleanr never sees your payment details. To validate and restore purchases across your devices, Cleanr uses RevenueCat, a service operated by RevenueCat, Inc. RevenueCat receives a randomly-generated, anonymous identifier representing your subscription status. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information through Cleanr.
RevenueCat's privacy practices are described at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.
Cleanr is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) and we do not knowingly collect any information from such users. The App does not require an account.
Cleanr is operated from Brazil and is available worldwide via the Apple App Store. Because Cleanr does not transmit your data to our servers, there is no international data transfer initiated by the App itself. Third-party services described above (Google AdMob, RevenueCat, Apple) may transfer the limited data they receive across borders in line with their own privacy policies.
Because Cleanr does not collect or store your personal data on remote servers, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. To erase all locally-stored Cleanr data, simply uninstall the App. To stop AdMob from serving personalized ads, revoke tracking permission in iOS Settings.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected in a new App Store release.
